Perrier by Andy Warhol

Pop bottles.

NUVO Magazine: Perrier Andy Warhol

Perrier has added some pop to its fizz by partnering with the Andy Warhol Foundation to create a limited-edition series of Andy Warhol-inspired bottles. While Warhol’sCoca-Cola motifs and Campbell’s Soup Cans have become icons of pop art, the artist also produced over 40 works featuring the Perrier bottle in 1983. Inspired by these 1980’s-era screen prints, the sparkling water brand has emblazoned its trademark green bottles with four graphic labels, along with other nods to the artist, whose words, like his art, have also long outlived their 15 minutes of fame. A selection of quotes, along with Warhol’s image and signature, complete the designs.

This year also marks Perrier’s 150th anniversary; the sparkling water was first bottled in the south of France in 1863. Whether served with a slice of lemon or mixed with a favourite juice or spirit, it refreshes the palate and adds sparkle—and now pop—to those summer sips.
