Dior J’adore, the New Infinissime

Dior has introduced a new composition of its signature scent J’adore as J’adore Infinissime. Referred to as a “younger” sister by perfumer-creator François Demachy, the new fragrance embodies the changing definitions of femininity. The bouquet is centred around the Grasse tuberose, a bloom that had disappeared from the region in the 1950s until Dior reintroduced it. The rose oil is extracted through a traditional practice called enfleurage, wherein petals are spread across wood frames coated with plant-based grease until it absorbs the fragrance. The slow process ensures a more full-bodied perfume. The tuberose oil is blended with notes of pink peppercorn and blood orange for a fresh finish that invites a new generation of women into the fold.
