TAG Heuer’s latest edition of its Connected Golf watch is, as they say in golf, as close as one can get to the perfect round. The watchmaker has a deep connection with sports, and this third-generation smartwatch features a host of new hardware and software features designed to deliver the most relevant data possible on the golf course.

The 45mm watch is crafted in lightweight titanium and utilizes the chronographs on which the brand has built its reputation. The black ceramic bezel features 18 engraved and white-lacquered graduations to serve as a performance reference at each hole. Black and green lacquer pushers record shots and distances.

Each watch is finished with a white textured-rubber strap—resembling the pattern on a golf ball—and detailed with grass-green stitching. The single-clip bracelet system makes for an easy strap change to a black-rubber alternative when desired. The Connected Golf edition will support any player who wants to take their game to the next level and “stand out on the course,” says Frédéric Arnault, TAG Heuer’s chief strategy and digital officer.

The smartwatch is designed to interact with the TAG Heuer Golf App that is available free for anyone with an iOS or Android device and can be used even if you do not own the companion Connected watch. The app’s 40,000 maps provide insights, record shots, scores, and hazards for 99 per cent of the world’s golf courses. Detailed 3D course mapping, along with the new Driving Zone feature, indicates the best zone to target based on the player’s past rounds.
