An Easy Moscow Mule From Ampersand Distilling Co

Quarantine sips.

The distinction between the weekend and weekdays may be inconsequential while in quarantine, but the little things that make us happy—like weekend drinks—are small mementos of normalcy.

This Moscow Mule from Cowichan Valley’s Ampersand Distilling Co makes for sweet sipping whilst binge-watching the latest Netflix shows or over a candlelit Skype date. The drink is made with the distillery’s Per Se vodka, which recently won World’s Best Varietal Vodka at the World Vodka Awards, mixed with lime juice and ginger beer, and topped off with fresh mint.

While the distillery is closed, production is still in motion for Ampersand. And, along with a host of other distilleries across the country, they have stepped up to offer bulk alcohol hand sanitizer to community service workers and are working to get individual bottles to liquor and grocery stores in B.C.
